RBI Recruitment 2021: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has published the notification for recruitment to the post of Security Guard in various offices of the Bank on its website - rbi.org.in. Interested and eligible ex-servicemen can apply for RBI Security Guard Recruitment from 22 January to 12 February 2021 on opportunities.rbi.org.in.

RBI Security Guard Salary:

Basic pay of ₹10940/- per month in the scale of 10940-380 (4)-12460- 440(3) -13780-520(3)-15340-690 (2)-16720- 860(4) – 20160 – 1180 (3)- 23700 (20 years) and other allowances, viz: Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance, Personal Fixed Allowance, Shift Allowance, Special Functional Allowance, Special Allowance (I), Grade Allowance, Washing Allowance etc. as admissible from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments for Security Guards is approximately ₹27,678/- including House Rent Allowance @ of 15%

Eligibility Criteria for RBI Security Guard Job

Candidate should be a Ex-serviceman

The candidate should have passed 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) from recognized State Education Board or equivalent. Ex-servicemen who have passed the qualifying examination from outside the recruitment zone either before or after leaving the military service are also eligible.

Age Limit:

25 years (28 years for OBC and 30 years for SC/ST as per category relaxation provided by the Government of India)

There will be no negative marking for wrong answer and no sectional cut-off in the Online Test

Physical Test - Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks in Online Test. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a Physical test which will be of qualifying in nature.

These provisionally shortlisted candidates will have to successfully complete document verification, biometric verification and any 7 other procedure as may be decided by the Bank. They will also have to undergo the pre-recruitment medical test. Final selection will be done based on all these mandatory procedures.

At such times, some people sell the cylinder in black. The subsidy is being withdra

wn to prevent this.

If the subsidy is not removed, then why is the demand reduced?

Demand for domestic cylinders has declined in the last few months, a market report said. While the demand for cylinders at marketing rates has increased. This has bridged the gap between subsidized and non-subsidized cylinder prices.

Demand for domestic gas cylinders has fallen by 20 per cent in several cities, according to a report. To a large extent this demand has been met by commercial cylinders.

Cylinders available at market rates are often cheaper than domestic cylinders found in black. That is why it has been observed that the consumer prefers to buy a commercial instead of buying a cylinder in black at a higher price.

Is the government abolishing subsidies?

The first question is whether the government is scrapping subsidies. The answer is that the government has not taken any such policy decision, then the question is, why the subsidy in the people's account has been reduced? So the answer is, there is a question between the company and the consumers.

Reduced subsidies to curb black market?

A report also states that there is no large-scale black market, which is why no such decision has been taken.

So why did people take home cylinders less? Are people getting commercial cylinders at low prices in the open market. Whatever the reason, it is certain that there are a large number of people who have less subsidy money in their accounts.

Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY) is a savings scheme launched back in 2015 as part of the Government initiative Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign. This scheme enables guardians to open a savings account for their girl child with an authorised commercial bank or India Post branch.

As of 1st July 2019, SSY accounts offer 8.4% rate of interest. A Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana calculator can help you determine the returns you receive as per the invested amount and tenure.

Here’s the eligibility criteria for opening a Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana Account:

Only parents or legal guardians of the girl child can open a Sukanya Samriddhi account in the name of the girl.

The girl child should be less than 10 years at the time of account opening.

The account can be operational till the girl reaches the age of 21 years.

The initial investment can start from Rs. 250 and a maximum of Rs. 1,50,000 annually with further deposits in the multiples of Rs. 100.

A single girl child cannot have multiple Sukanya Samridhhi accounts.

Only two Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana accounts are allowed per family i.e., one for each girl child

The government reviews interest rates every three months. Interest rates can be higher or lower. The account is currently earning 7.1 per cent interest.
The benefit of tax exemption under 80C can be availed by investing Rs 1.5 lakh in these schemes.

Chief Minister Mahila Utkarsh Yojana Gujarat 2020-21

CM Women Upliftment Scheme would be launched on PM’s birthday on 17th September With an aim to make middle class women an economic pillar of their family, particularly in the social scenario of post-Corona time, Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani has expressed a firm resolution to introduce a revolutionary ‘Chief Minister Women Upliftment Scheme’ in Gujarat.

The Chief Minister Women Upliftment Scheme’ would be gifted to Gujarat’s women power on Prime Minister Mr. Narendrabhai Modi’s birthday falling on 17th September, 2020. Under this revolutionary scheme over 10-lakh women would be given a financial loan at ‘zero’ per cent interest.

Under the ‘Chief Minister Women Upliftment Scheme’ total one lakh ‘Joint Liability and Earning Women Groups’ would be setup in the state. Of which, 50,000 groups would be made in rural areas and 50,000 groups in urban zones. Each group would be consisting of 10 women as partners. Each group would be given a loan of Rs. One-lakh. Thus, 10-lakh women would be given loans, in phase manner, in total amounting to Rs. 1,000-Crore.

These loans would be made available to these women groups through nationalised banks, cooperative banks and the RBI approved financial institutions. The Chief Minister has urged the banking sector to join enthusiastically in this women’s welfare scheme. In this context, the state government would also sign a MoU with the banks in near future.

Besides this, the state government has decided to waive the stamp duty on these loans. And, for this purpose a budget of Rs. 175-Cr has also been allocated by the state government, the Chief Minister said.

Mr. Rupani expressed determination that as the Gujarat’s women who brought ‘White Revolution’ through animal husbandry; they would also become ‘Economically Aatmanirbhar’ (Economically Self-dependent) by initiating small, independent business or ‘Gruh Udhyog’ with the assistance of this loan

A provision has also been made in the scheme that NGOs, which are working for welfare and upliftment of the women, could also take benefits of the scheme for their women members.

It should be noted here that during the financial year of 2019-20 as many as 45,404 self-help women groups (Sakhi Mandals) had availed loans of Rs. 428.72-Cr for their 4.25 lakh women members.

The scheme would be implemented in rural areas by ‘The Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company’, owned by Rural Development Department, Government of Gujarat. Similarly, the scheme would be implemented in urban areas by ‘The Gujarat Urban Livelihood Mission’ of Urban Development Department, Government of Gujarat.

The Chief Minister's Horticulture Development Mission has been announced as an important step with a concrete result oriented plan to increase the scope of horticulture as well as medicinal crops with the holistic development of agriculture and horticulture sector by making a historic decision to increase the cultivable land of the state. The main objective of this 'CM Horticulture Development Mission' is to generate more income from the cultivation of horticultural and medicinal crops by allocating to them and to increase the export-export ratio and create new employment opportunities through valuation of such crop products.

Announcing the mission, Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani further said that agricultural development in the state is a challenge due to arid and semi-arid as well as coastal salinity areas. However, with its outstanding ability to turn disaster into opportunity, the government , Kisan Suryodaya Yojana Mukhyamantri Pak Sangraha Yojana has made Gujarat a leader in the country in terms of agricultural growth rate. He said that out of 18 lakh hectares of land in the state, 50% i.e. 3 lakh hectares of land is under cultivation as well as horticultural and medicinal lands in fallow and non-fertile lands.

There is ample potential for cultivation of crops. In the year 2017-20, Gujarat has contributed about 3.20 per cent of the total production of fruits and vegetables in the country with the planting of fruits and vegetables in 3.8 lakh hectares and production of 82.71 lakh metric tonnes.

The Minister added that the total cultivation of crops in Gujarat is gradually increasing by about 20,000 hectares. Especially areas of North Gujarat and Kutch have emerged as hubs of crops like pomegranate, guava, kharek, papaya. As a result of the state government's promotion of agricultural technology, irrigation facilities and farmer-friendly policies, even arid, semi-arid or saline areas have become greener with agricultural production, he added.

The full details and features of the Chief Minister's Horticulture Development Mission announced by Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani are that the entire process of selection, allotment as well as lease term, annual lease rent at a nominal rate and security deposit will be carried out in a transparent manner.

Non-cultivable non-fertile government lands can be allotted to progressive farmers, competent persons, institutions, companies or partnership firms under this scheme.

For this, the area of land per project will be from 15 acres to 1000 acres (50 to 200 hectares). An estimated 50,000 acres of such land will be allotted across the state on a 30-year lease.

The five districts which have been included in the first phase of the Horticulture Development Mission. The district level committee under the chairmanship of the District Collector will prepare the selection list at the district level by identifying the block-survey numbers of the land allotted among the non-fertile government lands available in the districts.

Based on this selection list, the Department of Agriculture, Farmer Welfare and Co-operation in consultation with the Revenue Department will publish the list of lands on the i-farmer portal.

The applicant will be able to apply on the i-farmer portal with his land use plan to get the land leased out of the lands / Survey number lands already decided in the list in which he wants to cultivate horticultural or medicinal crops.

The proposal received online from the applicant will be technically examined by the State Technical Committee and sent to the State High Level Committee (High Power Committee) for recommendation.

The High Power Committee headed by the Chief Minister will examine the proposal and recommend lease of land.

The lease term of such leased land will be a maximum of 30 years. However, with the mutual consent of the lease holder and the government, the government may consider extending the lease for a longer period once the lease is completed.

The security deposit of the land for lease and the annual lease rate have been kept at a nominal rate.

For 6 to 10 years, Rs. 100

For 11 to 20 years, Rs. 250

For 21 to 30 years, Rs. There will be 500 basic rent.

Rs. Per acre as security deposit. At the time of allotment of 500 lands, it will have to be filled simultaneously. Not only that, in five years, the development will have to be done on the land as approved in the project.

Elaborating on the other assistance provided by the state government, he said that the project would provide one-time assistance only up to 50% of the cost as per the prevailing norms (fixed rate of GGRC) for irrigation system of modern drip irrigation system with modern technology of micro irrigation.

"Board" means the Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board, Gandhinagar or such Board as may be constituted by the State Government in this behalf
"Examination" means the Combined Competitive Examination for direct recruitment to the posts of Police Constable, Class III in the State Police Force and the State Reserve Police Force and Sepoy (Male) and Sepoy (Female)/Matron in the Jail Department specified in Appendex I.which includes Physical Test and Written Test as referred to in rule 8.
Government means the Government of Gujarat.
relevant recruitment rules means the recruitment rules prescribed by the Government for the posts specified in Appendix
